Medicinal Ingredients:
Burdock (Arctium lappa, root), Oregon Grape (Berberis aquifolium, root), Yellow Dock (Rumex crispus, root), Echinacea (Echinacea angustifolia, root and rhizome), Sarsaparilla (Smilax glabra, root), Nettle (Urtica dioica, spring tops), Cleavers (Galium aparine, flowering tops), Blue Flag (Iris versicolor, root), Cascara (Frangula purshiana, aged bark)
Non-Medicinal Ingredients: Distilled water, Certified Organic alcohol, Certified Organic vegetable glycerine
Dosage:
Adults: Take 1-2 mL (30-60 drops) 3 times daily in a little water on an empty stomach. Take a few hours before or after taking other medications or health products.
Cautions and Warnings:
Consult a health care practitioner before use: if you are taking thiazide diuretics, corticosteroids, licorice root or other medications or health products which may aggravate electrolyte imbalance; if you are taking immunosuppressants, cardiac medications such as cardiac glycosides or antiarrhythmic medications; if you have faecal impaction; if you have a kidney disorder, an autoimmune disorder, a progressive systemic disease such as tuberculosis, leukosis, collagenosis, multiple sclerosis, AIDS and/or HIV infection; if you are taking other medications or have a medical condition. Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms worsen or persist.
Contraindications:
Do not use: if you are pregnant or breastfeeding; if you have abdominal pain, nausea, fever, vomiting, hemorrhoids; if you have a chronic gastrointestinal disorder, abnormal constrictions of the gastrointestinal tract, potential or existing intestinal blockage, atonic bowel, appendicitis, inflammatory colon disease such as Crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis, undiagnosed rectal bleeding, severe dehydration with depleted water or electrolytes or diarrhoea; if you are taking Digoxin. Laxative effect may occur. Discontinue use if you experience abdominal pain, cramps, spasms and/or diarrhea.
Known Adverse Reactions:
Hypersensitivity reactions (e.g. allergy) have been known to occur, in which case, discontinue use.
